Bio
Waiswa is the Head Legal & Compliance at the Uganda Communications Commission, a role that entails overseeing the licensing function of the Commission as well as enforcing compliance in the communications sector. Waiswa is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda, with a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Insolvency Law from Nottingham Trent University, UK, a Bachelor of Laws (Hon) from the University of Dar es Salaam, (TZ), a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from LDC, and he is currently writing his last chapter for the award of an LLD in Mercantile law at the University of South Africa. Waiswa has participated in several local and international trainings in ICT and media policy formulation and regulation.
